doors open toronto

The best part of Doors Open Toronto was all the architecture and design studios open to the public.

The studios were incredibly patient. I made sure to share my stance on felt (it’s nice, just don’t put it where people can touch it) and ask the important questions. No one had a satisfactory answer as to why those funny looking modern gabled buildings with sparse and awkward windows are so “in” right now.

The day’s itinerary also included a trip to the AGO because, as Austin Kleon reminds us art changes what you see. It was a big Sunday.
